MEN’S
FELLOWSHIP REPORT
10th February 2008
I took over the Men’s Fellowship in February 2007 and over the
last 12 months we have built up a reasonable core group of men. Depending
upon the venue and time of year we usually get between 8 and 12 men
coming along to enjoy a relaxed social evening of fellowship. We meet
on the second Thursday of every month at a different venue and try to
vary the interest and keep within a reasonable budget to suit all. Seasonal
activities include Croquet and a Canal Boat Trip, both of which will
hopefully be repeated again this summer. The Men’s Fellowship
organised an open to all Christmas social evening at the RAFA Club in
December that was well supported, 44 on the night, and we also hope
to repeat this event again in December this year.
Our aim is to increase interest and invite and encourage other men from
within the Parish and not just St. Editha’s.
