Just before Christmas we enjoyed a social evening at
the RAFA club where we had games, buffet and a raffle. We managed to
raise £86 that was spilt equally between Christian Aid and Help
the Hero’s.
In January we felt a need to reflect on the food and drink that was
enjoyed over Christmas by going out for a weight watchers meal at the
Pretty Pigs. The carvery went down well and saved a few pounds (in money).
On Thursday 10th February we will be meeting at Tamworth Indoor Bowling
Club at Amington where we will enjoy a couple of hours of flat green
bowling. We will meet at 8.00pm ready for an 8.30pm start. The cost
will be approximately £4 each.
If you require a lift or can offer a lift please me know in advance
and I will try to coordinate arrangements.
