If
you or anyone you know is admitted to hospital we want to make
sure that you not only get what you need from the hospital chaplains,
but also receive visits and support from us.
In
days gone by, before the Data Protetction Act and other advances
in civil liberties, we would have been told when someone from
within our parish was admitted. This meant that we could visit
them and offer prayer, communion and other support during their
stay and after discharge. These days, unfortunately, this is not
the case so if you know someone from our patch who has been admitted,
or are going in to hospital yourself, please contact the church
office and let us know.
Too
often we get to hear about people having been hospitalised only
after they have come back home. Please help us to be effective
in our ministry to the body of Christ by keeping us informed.
We'd rather hear about someone having been admitted a number of
times rather than miss one person. The link below will give you
the church office telephone number and also provide a means of
emailing us. Thanks. . . .
