Welcome. . . St Edithas itself is an extremely old church with a lot of history behind it, and although we take the maintenance of this treasure seriously, we are also aware of our responsibility (and joy) of bringing the Gospel to the world. To this end we are active in the Tamworth Covenanting Churches and take a leading part in all civic and many local events. We offer a variety of service styles ranging from BCP through to Common Worship services and more charismatic styled 'Prayer and Praise' services.

Situated at the centre of England, we feel that a part of our calling is to put the heart back into the 'Heart of England'. For situated where it is, there is great potential for us to be a missionary church as an outworking of our Christian faith. You are always welcome in St Editha's, whether it be to examine the wonderful building (with its stained glass and the tower's famous double staircase), to rest within its walls in a place of calm and peace, or to join with us in the worship of God the Father, meeting with Jesus by the power of God's Holy Spirit.
